WebEx MeetMeNow will be installed on your desktop as well as your system tray in seconds. It will also appear in Outlook and Yahoo! and AOL Instant Messenging clients. You'll be set up and using in minutes. How do I set up teleconferencing? Choose Yes to "Set up a teleconference" when scheduling your meeting. If you start an instant meeting via Instant Messenger, choose Start Teleconference from the WebEx MeetMeNow Control panel menu once the meeting has started. How am I billed? WebEx MeetMeNow allows up to 15 meeting participants for an unlimited amount of time. For a more comprehensive solution that accommodates more than 15 participants, and includes administrative features visit the Meeting Center page on the main WebEx.com site. Can I share an application such as PowerPoint slides with MeetMeNow? Yes, when you share your desktop, you can share any application on your computer. In addition, you can change presenter, so that that any selected participant can share their desktop and any application with the group. What is included in the price for the MeetMeNow service? Pricing includes an unlimited number of meetings per month for up to 15 participants per meeting (including the host). You can host the meeting from any computer and the participants join your meeting for free. The participants do not have to subscribe to MeetMeNow to participate in your meeting. As part of the MeetMeNow service you can use our integrated toll number and access code for each of your meetings. The callers are responsible for their own telephony charges. There is no setup fee. If you start the service with a free trial offer, billing will begin after the end of the free trial period. Yes, all meetings take place over our secure and reliable MediaTone network. Can I run multiple meetings simultaneously with a single MeetMeNow account? No, MeetMeNow is designed for individuals to have a single meeting at a time with up to 15 participants in each meeting. However, you can host your meeting from any PC. If I cancel the trial do I immediately lose access to the service? Once you have started your free trial, you can cancel at anytime. If you cancel, you are moved into a "pending order state". You can continue to use the service until the end of the trial and your credit card will not be charged. Is Video supported? Yes, you can include video from a web cam for a more face-to-face interaction. The host controls which web cam is being viewed by the participants of the meeting. The host can switch from one web cam to another during the meeting. As an example, the whole group can start out by viewing the host, and later the host can switch the video so that a web cam of one of the participants is viewed by the whole group. Is MeetMeNow integrated with MS Office? You can start or schedule a MeetMeNow meeting right from the icon located above your Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint document, or Outlook email. - If you have your own WebEx MeetMeNow account, you can Right click on the WebEx MeetMeNow system icon in your system tray, choose Join A Meeting, and enter the meeting number that the host gave you.
Can I run a MeetMeNow meeting from any computer? Yes, from any computer go to meetmenow-uk.webex.com and login with your email address and password. Activation for MeetMeNow will automatically run so you can set up or conduct a meeting. Can I schedule a MeetMeNow meeting through Outlook? Yes, MeetMeNow is integrated with Outlook email and you can schedule a MeetMeNow meeting through an icon you add to Outlook during the initial setup. In addition, you can start a meeting at anytime and invite your participants via an outlook email invite, or send them an invite through instant messaging. What is the maximum number of attendees for a MeetMeNow meeting? The maximum number in a single MeetMeNow meeting is 15 including the host. The participants can attend via the online meeting and/or the integrated teleconference number. For larger meetings, WebEx does have other meeting services that allow unlimited capacity. Double click on the WebEx MeetMeNow icon in your system tray, choose Schedule a Meeting, complete the form and choose Add Attendees & Send. How do I start a meeting that I scheduled? Double click on the WebEx MeetMeNow icon in your system tray, choose Start a Scheduled Meeting, click on START under the Action column of your Upcoming Meetings tab. How do I set up an instant meeting, on-the-fly? - Double click on the WebEx MeetMeNow icon in your system tray, choose Start Meeting Now.
- You can also do this spontaneously from within your Yahoo!, MSN, or AOL instant messenger services while you're chatting, or directly from Outlook, via the WebEx MeetMeNow tab.
How do I manage my account, change my password, credit card, etc.? All of your account information is available via the Account tab within the WebEx MeetMeNow site. You'll see options for Personal Information, Credit Card Info, Subscriptions and Billing History listed there for you as well. As a host I keep getting the feedback screen, how do I turn that off?
